Two questions
1st- how is everyone shipping now that the regional rate box rates are gone ? We used those a ton and was a good price
2nd in your boxes when you ship plastic pints , quarts 1/2 gallons do you wrap the jugs in plastic bags if by chance one leaks? If so do you buy those clear plastic bags somewhere ? I thought ablut zip lock but that seems like kind of cheap looking to use a zip lock bag . Thoughts ? Thanks

USPS flat rate is still hard to beat, especially if shipping any more than 1 quart.
I don't wrap our jugs but if I did I would look for a small garbage bag or something to wrap all the jugs in rather than individually wrap them.

I ship almost exclusively using USPS flat rate, either medium or large boxes. They pay the shipping. I pad my containers using heavy weight brown paper. I bought a large roll of the brown paper about 2 years ago, I mounted the roll on an axle in my attached garage off a heavy shelf. My paper is 18" wide, the roll originally was about 11-12" diameter, now it's down to 7", in about another year I'll need to order another, when I do, I'll order 60# weight x 18", I now have 30# x 18", I'd like it heavier. Zoro has the 60# x 18" for 600' at $78.00 shipping included.
To use it, I crumple it and pack it in under, around the edges and fill any void with it, in 2 yrs, I had no damaged in shipment, but about 5-6 yrs ago, when I was using packing peanuts I had 1 damaged in shipment.

I used the Regional boxes exclusively. Sucks they stopped that service. The past couple shipments I have used Pirate Ship. Kinda of a third party operation that is able to utilize bulk rate pricing. The box I shipped out today (two quarts) I priced out at $13.15 using Priority, but used Pirate Ship and paid $7.59. It printed me out a Priority label so I was still able to use the old Regional boxes. So far so good. The website is easier to navigate than the usps site too.
We use pirate ship and put jugs in ziplock bags. USPS requires a bag on liquids

You can still use the regional rate boxes as "Your Packaging". I have shipped thousands of flat rate USPS boxes and have never bagged a jug/bottle and have had less than 5 break along the way.
I wonder how long Pirate Ship will last....

Pirate Ship started in 2014, so I think they already outlasted the Regional Boxes. lol
