Had a great first boil today on our new 2x5 Flat Pan Corsair. Perfect setup for our little operation. Steady 25 GPH with the blower.

Thanks for the video.

I've got a Smoky Lake 2' X 6' Silverplate but haven't set it up yet. I notice you have the pneumatic wheels. What was the process for assembling them onto the arch frame?

Larry,

They provide a steel plate that gets bolted onto the legs. Simply install the wheels after that plate is bolted and away you go. You'll need a car jack to raise the arch for bolting that on. (At least that's what I did...) I wheel the whole unit in and out of the garage after each use with no issues. I also use my car jack for leveling and draw off. (Look closely at the video...)

I have another short video of the arch on wheel dollies for moving it around the garage.

IS that a flat pan or a divided pan?

It's a flat pan with a 25GPH boil rate...

I like how you have it set up to move around. Must be quite heavy being a 2 x 5. one question for you how do you hold your stack on while boiling?

It's a piece of cake to wheel around with the tires. The bottom stack sits around and is supported by a built-in flange. Sturdy enough for my needs. I wouldn't boil like that in 15mph wind or super gusty days anyway without a guidewire.

what was your reasoning for going with a flat pan over say a divided flat pan ?
