Hey guys, need a little help. I bought a used CDL 250 horizontal RO works good! But when cleaning it the directions say to run it at 50 psi then 40psi on rinse. My machine shuts off around 60-65psi I can’t get it any lower?? Not sure what’s going on w it? Or following directions to close seeing how they do not get very in-depth at all!!

doesnt it have seperate pressure gauge for low pressure feed pump and high pressure pump? That 40-50psi mentioned is for the high pressure pump, but the low pressure pump can still be above 60 i believe

Yes there’s two gauges one before the micron filter and one after. When I adjust the pressure down both go down together?

Id call your local CDL rep and ask for sure, but I can tell you on mine, there is no way to adjust the pressure from the feed pump it is what it is. I can't see how adjusting anything would drop incoming pressure from your water/sap source? For rinse/wash I just run the concentrate valve and bypass valve wide open and the pressure to membranes is at 45psi. incoming pressure from the feed pump to the high pressure pump is still like 60 or so and cant be adjusted.
