Is there a Minimum Temperature?

I'm going to put out some 5/16 tubing this year. Will have about 70 taps on tubing. Probably maintain between 10-15 taps per run (lateral).

It's 20 degrees and snowing right now, and I'm itching to put some tubing up. Is it too cold? Should I wait and if so, what is the minimum temp required for hanging the stuff? I'm using memory flex for drops and 30P for laterals.

I'm worried if I put it up now, when it warms to 40 degrees, I'm going to have big sags that will be difficult to fix.

Hey TS, The thing about hanging tubing is straight and tight!! We put supports every 10 ft or so to help to prevent sagging.....If you ever plan on going to vacuum you may want to keep your laterals with 10 or less taps 100 ft or less....Id put saddle loops on as well...As for the cold, if you can take it id put them up......I like a little warmer.......My 2 cents worth....

i hope not cuz i have bin putting my lines up in -10c to +5c in the summer i just go back and tighten it all up its not that hard

Go for it - you have to wrestle with it a bit more in the cold. I've stretched semi-rigid tubing between -10 Celcius and +30 Celcius.
