Looking to build a 4x40 single post RO with the option for a second membrane in the future.
My research suggests I should go with a 330 Procon and a 1.5 hp motor. The issue I’m having is the lack of access to 220v power. Running at 110v requires around 15 amps and leaves very little for a feed pump.
Can I use a 3/4 or 1 hp motor to power the Procon for the time being and upgrade to the larger motor in the future. I’ve seen 3/4 motors power a single post without an issue, just not sure if it’ll work with the larger pump without a second membrane.
Thanks.
