End of season clean up & maintenance

What are you best practices for cleaning and maintaining your evaporator?

I have a new Starcat evaporator and it looks good after the first season. I’ll probably touch it up with some high temperature paint on the outside. Anything I should do on the inside?

Also, some of my stovepipe is showing rust on where each section comes together. Is there anything I should do to preserve that?

If that is single wall, wire brush and use your high temp paint on it.
