Anyone know what the gph rate would be on a 4by 16 with 4by8 drop flue and 4by 8 syrup pan. Would also have pre heater. Wood fire

Dont know but a guess would be 200- 300 GPH or better? Our old 3 x 10 will do about 120 per hour.
That's a good sized rig in today's world of R.O.'s, but depends how many taps you have.

We are running a 5by12 right now with an r.o but it’s getting to the point where she needs some work. Seen a 4by16 forsale. Was thinking 4 foot fire box wouldn’t eat as much wood as the 5. And still maybe be around the same gph. We run about 1500 taps and also take on other sap.
the best bet would be to call the manufacturer if you knew who it was. I would think more around the 350 GPH mark, but with wood there are a lot of factors that can speed or limit the rate.

Guessing probably 250-300 gph depending on how its set up. problem with that might be that its set up 50/50 syrup/flue pan, usually that's a setup for higher concentrate, so may not get what youre looking for.

Doubtful it'd be over 250. I run a 4x14 with a 10' raised flue pan. Original cast front but forced air. No preheater. I do right about 200. I think you're gonna be close to that with the smaller flue pan. Add the preheater, get what, 15%? That's still under 250.
