3/16 end of the line normal tee ok to use?

I just installed some 3/16 line and didn't have an end hook or end of the line tee. Can I still get away with a normal tee until I get the proper end?
It is a closed system still so no air can get in.

If you are talking about using a tee to make a loop around the tree, then yes you can. People used them or Y’s to make end loops for many many years before they started making end hooks.
