So I just did our second batch of bottling tonight using the vacuum filter I made. I filtered about a gallon and half in the vacuum filter took about 10 minutes with maple DE mixed in. 1. Seems faster than my old cone filter on gravity 2. The DE sure does pull gunk out . My question is this batch after I opened the vacuum bottom canister seemed to be foamy. According to the Murphy cup it was still the correct density just had foam . Is this normal? The gallon or so I bottled Monday didn’t have that foam after the filter any ideas ? Thanks
