Vacuum in the sugar house

This past fall I ran a vacuum line off one of my main line to the sugar house so I don't have to run a shop vac for my 12" vacuum filter. All I can say is night and day. Like a dream 50 times faster.

Nice as long as the vacuum filter can handle that much vacuum. You don't want to implode the vacuum filter. Check to see how mech vacuum it can handle and stay below that. If your vacuum pump is at 28" but the filter only designed to run at 10" you could make a very pricey lump of scrap in a hurry.

It is dialed in to 12 . This also made by CDL very well built.
