My filters are brand new and wetted down and in a heated box but still just drips. Takes forever to fill pint jars. My question is... With the syrup being rather warm than hot and the jars aren't sealing, will they still be good with rings on them? Will they store well? Can I put them in the microwave to heat them up, warm them up in a hot water bath and re install flats?
Help! Jim

If you intend to keep your syrup unrefrigerated, it will need to be hot packed at least to 180 degrees. You might be better off letting the syrup settle in the fridge for a week or so, then decant from that into your bottling pot, reheat carefully to 180, but not over 190 then package in your jars.

Thanks! That's what I was hoping I could do.
