View Full Version : Frozen / cold sap longevity

We had an early shirt run of sap last week which then froze nearly solid, and started sewing yesterday. So there’s still a large block of ice in buckets and tanks. My guess is the sap from last week should still be good since it stayed super cold even through today with the block of ice. Any reason why that wouldn’t be true?

I would say the bacterial growth would be at a minimum, unless it smells or tastes funny I'd certainly boil it!
