Sap sak

I was looking at the SAP SAKs and wondering what the comments are on these for small producers like me. ( 180 - 200 taps )

Will the bag holder fit on standard spiles ???

General comments about use ?? Seems to me they would keep almost 100% of the moths and rain out.

I tried searching, sak, bag, baggie and couldn't find anything here about them

I've been using them since I started with 6 taps about 15 years ago. The work well, are a little susceptible to wind when empty, and can puncture when frozen solid. They work fin on hookless spiles, I use Soules. I've never washed a bucket and don't plan on it. I'm sticking with them. I get my saks and holders from Sugarbush Supplies in Michigan.

And this way you don't have to clean your sak either. LOL
