OK so, you guys make stuff from scratch, so I figure this is the place to ask.

I am looking for an inline ball valve / shutoff type to use with some tubing. I have a stainless container that just has a barb type fitting on the bottom. I want to put a piece of tubing on that, then an inline valve or shutoff, then some more tubing, to try and harness the flow into my warming pan. I used the micrometer on the barb that is already there and it is 7/16". I have LOTS of 5/16 tubing I was HOPING to use for this little project.

Any idea how to do this, or where to find this type fitting. everything I find is threaded or has 1 side barb and 1 side thread.

but with a ball valve (or something like it) in the middle.

Amazon has them with 5/16 hose barbs on each end. Under $17 for 3. Also has them with 3/8 hose barbs.

What did you search? I couldn't seem to find them?

You could also try Grainger - good selection of hard to find fittings.
