The maple world has lost a member

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Karl Evans this week. He was the president of the Ohio Maple Producers Association and co-owner of May Hill Maple in Colebrook, Ohio. Karl was one of the nicest guys I ever met, and would give anyone the shirt off of his back. He was only 51 and left us too soon.

What an absolute terrible loss, Karl was a great guy and friend. He will definitely be missed.
