Hi gang-
I am reconfiguring the way my lines run so they all end up at a central location and the sap collects in a 275 gallon tote. What I am having trouble with at the moment is that I end up with 7 maybe more 5/16 lines at the tote.
What is the best way to connect those lines so they drain into the tote but don’t let bugs and critters in?
Thanks!

Use one of these and plumb right into the tank with a bulkhead fitting. They make them 4 way and 6 way

I cut a hole in the top of the IBC the size of a 4 or 5 gallon bucket. The bucket wedges into the opening making a weather tight seal. No need for calking. Now you can drill holes in the side of the bucket just a hair smaller than the O.D. of the tubing. The tubing wedges into the hole in the bucket. You'll probably want to tension the lines onto something just past the tote. The bucket can be removed to make for easier cleaning of the tote and there are no fittings required.

Thanks guys, great advice! I think I’m going to go with the 6 way fitting.
Thanks for the replies.

I used Chinese finger traps to anchor the incoming 5/16 to the metal frame of the tote, worked great.
HD had the hallow rope pretty cheap.
