saddles on vacuum

do the mainline saddles seal enough when you hook up vacuum? i use the rubber 1/2" main line saddles that you wire tie on.and @ all the saddle do you make a loop then hook in and wire tie to the main line?

did not know that they made 1/2 inch saddles. cut a hole at 2 oclock on thhe pipe put saddle on, then normally loop and hook to wire since you are not using wire, tie hook to main line
