So is it too late to take advantage of the upcoming cool down this weekend and into next week? I'm in the very north east corner of Ottertail county. Haven't been out in the woods to look at the buds.

I was as of last sunday. We're are going a week with no freezing temps until next sign of freezing at night. Just thought I'd check with anyone else in central mn and see what they think. The frogs have started croocking and the pussywillows are fuzzy.

The consumers don't care about the frogs or the pussy willows. If you're making good tasting syrup, keep going. If not, stop.

I prefer the frogs to be filtered out of my syrup, regardless of taste.
