Ran my RO system yesterday and figured out my air issue. Needed to sort of prime the pump. Just lifting my tube up temporarily did the job.
RO ran for 4 hrs and one bucket is 5.7% and the other is 8%. 6.85 ave and have 9 gal. I would need almost 13 gal for a gal of syrup. I'll wait for next thaw to boil, but I'm off to a great start for next boil. My buckets have some sap in them but won't empty them due to windy conditions.
Looks like Wednesday will be my next boil day.

Back when I did buckets I always had problems when the wind blew. I tried putting a rope around them and in the end, I washed some 3-4# rocks and put 1 in the bottom of each bucket that had problems. Back then I had 100 buckets, but only about 35 needed the rocks.

I just went around and bent the hooks more. That tends to stop the issue.
