Just an FYI, I upgraded from a Honda WX10 pump to the bigger WB20. Ready for my first pump tonight as I've got two full totes and this pump leaked so bad it wouldn't push sap up the hill to my tanks at the sugar shack. Going to take it apart and try to seal it tomorrow. Will post how that works out tomorrow.

Where were the leaks, from the pump housing or the connections? I'm not familiar with that pump, but I have a WX15 and never had any leaks, except the time I left the fill plug out, it gets we in a hurry then.

Leaking from the housing. Looking at a parts diagram there's an o-ring in there. Will pull it apart tomorrow and see what I find.

We run a WH15 and WH20 pump. Both are their high pressure pump. There is an o-ring on the inside of the pump housing cover. We take our housing apart each year to make sure it is clean. Every 2 years we replace the o-ring. The WH15 is going on 5 years. The WH20 is starting it's second year. There is a huge difference between the two pumps. If we knew we could have ordered the CDL SS tank with a 2" outlet we would have done that and bought a WH20 in place of the WH15.

Sounds to me like it needs rebuilt. main seals and all.

It's brand new.

So I took it apart and put a little gasket maker around the O ring and it's 99% better. Pretty disappointing I have to take a brand new pump apart and not expected from a Honda product. Oh well.

Maybe it was made on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon.

Interesting. I bought my 2nd wb20 this year and it leaks as well. My first I have had for 10 years maybe? Not positive but I have never had many issues. First time I fired the new one up this year it squirted out the drum housing. I tried tightening the bolts, seemed to help but not stop it altogether. Never noticed it till I lugged it down the steep sink hole 110+ feet. It will leak a bit till the end of season now but disappointing for anhonda.

I'd complain to whoever you bought it from and if no satisfaction there complain to Honda.
