36" drops question.

If my drops are 36", do they have to be fully extended? Or can they have slack in them.

Friend of mine jumped in feet first and purchased a local guy out. Were using his exting mainline and laterals. 475 taps no vacuum. 5/16 taps and dropps/tubing into 1 1/2 main line.

They can have slack, just maintain pitch with no low spots. You can also wrap them around the tree to use up extra length quickly.
