I have a 2x8' wood fired arch and I'm considering moving to an oil burner conversion. It looks like a Carlin 301 would be the correct sized oil burner; however, I am wondering what a comparable Riello oil burner would be for my 2x8? I am hoping to concentrate from 2%-8%+ with my two post 4x40 RO that I'm in the process of building, in hopes I won't have to cut, split, stack, and handle wood so many times or that I shouldn't have to burn too much oil. I do like the idea of quick on and off with the boil and what seems to be ease of use.

Also, has anyone found used Carlin or Riello burners anywhere or are they really tough to come by? Just getting started on this journey so any input is appreciated. Thanks.

I found that the Carlin was a lil difficult to find. Ended up going with the beckett 500/800. Same output as the Carlin 301. Still had to have a hvac guy order it for me. And even at that he wanted to under size the burner thinking that it was way oversized for the process. Finally said this what I want, can you get it or not. Lol. Boils at 5 minutes and boil is done as soon as you hit the switch. Can't say anything about the riello as I didn't look into it at all.

I just converted my 2x8 Lapierre to oil. Leader jerked me around for two weeks on a Carlin burner that they couldn’t supply. So I Bought a becket cf800 burner from this guy below. Worked like a champ, and a whole lot cheaper.
