I have a lead on an older RO unit, a Darveau Turbo Compak. It has dual 8x40 stainless housings, and comes with one membrane that just came back from a professional cleaning. It has a low pressure feed/recirc pump, but the high pressure pump apparently needs a new motor (not sure whether it'll be rebuildable). The whole unit is alot bigger than I need, but the price ($500) seems like a steal. I spent way more than that building my first tiny home made unit, and my current 4"x40" is more than enough for me. My plan was to rebuild the motor and resell the setup to fund some other projects. Just thought I'd see if anyone has any thoughts on what something like this is worth, and what risks you might see.
