Tapping in Middle Tennessee

The season starts early in Tennessee.I tapped 30 sugar maples Sunday and will tap 42 more this Sunday. Some of my jugs are already full so I will begin boiling sap this weekend.I tap 72 trees on our 30.5 acres of hardwood forest.

East Tennessee guy here. Tapped 10 Sunday. 8 did really well. Been doing this for several years. Home made boiler. Tube / buckets mostly. Tried the sap bags this year , REALLY like them so far!
