remote satellite monitor by Marcland

Does anyone have any knowledge of the remote satellite monitors by Marcland? I was wondering if they are really pricey and are they as useless in the woods as a GPS is? Also, any clue what voltage the solar powered ones require? I visited their web site, but that doesn't have much info.

I'll give him a call then. I was thinking maybe someone on here would be able to share their observations (both good and bad) of the unit. They seem like a great idea for a guy like myself who works a 50 hr a week job and has to drive quite a ways to his sugar bush.
