Can the 3/4in flexible water heater connector with the braided stainless steel over be used to connect pans together?
This would be between a 2X4 flat pan and a 16inx22in flat pan so the volume shouldn't be a problem with 3/4in and since they are made for water heater, they should be able to handle the heat (couldn't find temperature rating)

I think they would be easier to use then soldered copper and more forgiving if you add a little more insulation between pans.

These are the one I'm thinking about.

When I went out to read the about the connectors, they were for the supply line side. In my way of thinking that would be cold water. You should see if you can find out if they have any kind of temperature limit/rating. The pans will be boiling upwards of 219+ degrees.

what about ss unions? I use them all the time. https://www.zoro.com/zoro-select-12-fnpt-316-ss-threaded-union-max-pressure-300-psi-6jm52/i/G3267126/feature-product?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=Cj0KCQiAk53-BRD0ARIsAJuNhpuzXhq3NSCkI21iZUAuPqsi2Os2JxqMJlUDsw DlZB0vrBq1MyLjYYkaAhTrEALw_wcB

Thanks for the replies. I couldn't find the temperature rating, that's why I'm wondering if they would work. I think the SS union are probably best, but couldn't find any close by at a decent price (thanks for the site!). I was looking at flexible connector since they would be more forgiving is I add a little more or little less insulation between my pans. With the unions, you have to be bang on.
