Hi, I have A hole in the bottom part where its about 1/4'' across It's A raised flu. its a soldered pan should i get the hole soldered or tig welded?? And who do you recommend

I'd call Bascom's since your not to far from there(I think) and see who they recommend in your area. Some one local would be the cheapest as far as fuel to drive it there. You can always go to one of the manufactuers like leader and they will fix it but that is a hike. Also it would depend on what condition your pan is, if it is in rough shape and the metal is thin it might be harder to repair. I'd definately not put a flame to it I'd use a iron if I was to solder it.

OK, I will call bascom's I don't know anything about fixing pans but the last thing i want is it leaking about the time i want to fire it..

I would think you would have to solder it because tig or heli-arc welding is a lot hotter than the solder can take. so as you keep welding the solder will keep melting as you go along.
