We are doing something differrent and going to our daughters for Christmas eve then dinner and all the kids will be at our house Christmas day.
Jake ( Tappin and sappin) was over this morning and ready to get at making some drops for his tubing system. We had a nice chat and solved most of the maple problems:)

We lived in loudon on rt 106 about a half mile north of the racetrack that was 1960_1967 worked at concord litho by the the airport in concord. There was a large maple producer on loudon ridge but can't remember his name now. Happy holidays to all

Merry Christmas! That producer was Cecil Pearl. That operation has about 7000
taps now.

My parents were making syrup on Clough Hill Rd at that time. They stopped in 1965 and had about 1300 buckets.

I tap about 300 in their woods about 550 total and my operation is on Pleasant St Ext, another part of the property that they owned and tapped.

Jesus is the reason for the season, but if it wasn't for Easter, today would just be another birthday.

Just finished Christmas dinner and gift exchange with some of our
family from Sandy Lake. This was a good day for travel. Happy Holidays to
all from all of us at Fort LeBouef Maple Syrup. We had the whole gang here
last Sat. for small party.
