Good morning. I just installed an 8" Selkirk sure temp double wall pipe through my sap house roof and want to go back to single wall because I have 15' of it. Is there an adapter to go from the male sure temp back to single wall stainless?

Exactly which Selkirk product did you use, it seems they have a bunch? Just saying double wall does not help enough.

Maple flats see below. I need to go from the male end to a single wall SS stack that I previously used from SLM.
Jay, the 8DSP-CPA is what I call the male adapter. I need the female adapter. Thanks!

If your piping from the arch up to the adapter is with the single wall then the double wall above that this is what is recommended because you install the pipe "upside down" so that condensation will drip inside the pipe and not run outside of it. BUT that said in most arch setups temps run so much hotter than a wood stove that its not necessary to worry about the condensation.
You could use this adapter and just cut off the reduced end of the last single wall section to fit??? just a thought Jay

Keep the single wall for later use, and continue up with the needed height with double wall. That is how I completed my set up with my SL evaporator.

Going back to what Jay said, the single wall crimped end fits into the double wall end. I was thinking the crimped end was always away from the unit when in fact it should be facing the unit. So I have read...
I will install my single wall into the double wall crimped end first and put a storm collar on to cover the "shoulder" of the double wall pipe. Thanks!
