Hey all,

So my woods is all 3/16 with a shurflo pump at the end of the mainline. There is no vehicle access past the bottom of the hills so to rinse out our tubing at the end of the season I am hiking up the hills with this:

21405

This is a 3 gallon back pack sprayer with the wand removed and replaced with a 3/16 barb fitting. I took the wand off and reduced it down to the barb fitting, in order to more easily spray water down drops. The first year I did the rinsing with the wand but it was a pain and got water everywhere. I usually fill the back pack half full to keep the weight down and that lets me rinse around 75 drops before I have to refill.

Looks good, do you add anything in the water or just straight? Marc

I have used a 3 gal back pack sprayer for many years. it is dedicated to washing tubing only and has a piece of rubber hose in place of the nozzle that the tap slips into. I may try your wand-less idea next year Thanks for the post

I just use plain water.
