I see folks using kynar fittings from US plastics. I'm struggling with a hose clamp as a secure fitting. Can anyone tell me if they work that well or if there is a better option?

Depends upon what you're trying to connect together. Tell us more about what it is you're trying to do.

Yea. I guess that could help.
It's the high pressure side of RO. I'm adding two more 4x40s. With all the extra time I seem to have now I figured I would get started. In particular it's mostly connections for the vessels together. I used sch 80 for the original but also sat in the hardware store multiple times getting the right lengths figured out. That s not an option at the moment.

We used half inch and one inch kynar fittings with hose clamps. This was our fourth season with them and have not had any issues yet. Just make sure the clamp is past the barb when you tighten it down. Normal pressures for us are 180-200 psi but we have run it up to 230 plus.

I was just looking at sch 40 pvc. 1/2 has psi rating to 600psi. As long as it's preped and glued appropriately the joints share that rating.
That s a simple solution in my mind. I can get a bunch of fittings and a couple sticks and cut to size.
