I have a 600 Econox, and the other day, I noticed the high temp shutoff is set to 104F. I checked the manual it's there too. I thought wash soaps needed to reach ~113F to reach their "activation" temperature. Is 104F ok or can I increase it to 113F? If it matters, I use Lapierre Sodium Hydroxide powder, and recently, I've been trying CDL's Superflow Green, which works better (I think). Thanks.

The book on my H2O says 100 degrees and the container of soap also says 100. I would leave it. I just switched from superflow green to Lapierre's soap and I think it works better. Maybe it's just me.

I use the CDL superflo and my rig shuts off at 110, that's where it was set, I also leave the hot soap in there overnight to let it keep working. That's what my Rep told me to.do.

My Lapierre RO shuts off at 43*C which is 109.4*F. I'm using Leader RO soap and it works as good as the Lapierre RO soap that I used to use. I don't think the 104*F that your's is shutting off at is fine. The sodium hydroxide RO soaps work best in the 98*F to 110*F range.

You're going to want to let that get up to at least a hundred and ten degrees. Mine shuts off at 113. You're not even going to harm your membrane until you get over 120....that's coming from a guy that made the springtech elite at leader

Thanks for the input.
Does the higher temp help the wash soap to work better? It's taking me 2 wash cycles to get my flow rates back up to a consistent level. It doesn't help that sap quality has been getting worse with the season winding down.

Checked my machine today when it reached high temp shutoff, 104 degrees. Mine is a 600 Econox also. Are you still using an H2O membrane? If so I would not change anything. If H2O thought 110 degrees, or any other temperature, would be better I'm sure they would have made it that way.

Thanks for checking. When I saw it stop at 104, I thought it was odd when the soap instructions say to reach ~110F. I have a CDL membrane.

Should be the same membrane as mine. Mine says H2O/CDL on it. Early on H2O was making membranes for CDL. Last years catalog had the same part number as the H2O membrane, not this year though.
