Picked up used arch. Need help

I picked up a used arch for free. I will try to get picks up. The question I have is what size pants go on it. The total width of the arch at the top is. 34 1/2 " wide. The length of the rig is 8' in front of the stack. The width has me puzzled. What company made plans that wide?

The question is not what is the total width of the arch but the total inside width and length of the arch. You would want to know how much overhang you need for a pan to be suspended over the opening. Pics always help. Let us know so we can help more!

My guess would be 30” pans. Check the width between the rails. Most pans only sit on the rails by 1/2-3/4” on each side.

Mine set on with less than 1/2" support on the sides. You do not want the pan resting with much overlap, the less it overlaps the more pan bottom is exposed to the fire.

I have measured some pans that were not what the manufacturer said. Like a couple inches narrower.
