Does anyone happen to know a manufacturer part number for a DeLaval 78 oil shaft seal. Or do you know how to find it online easier than me? Thanks in advance.

Hamby Dairy Supply.
Just do a search for delaval 78 and parts should come up.
I ordered new oilers for a surge pump through them. If they don’t have it listed just call them. They will be able to help you out.

Parts Dept Dairy Supply in Sharon Ct. They should have the oil seals in stock. Listed at $7.50 each.

If you need it quick, Lyons Dairy Service in Derby is a DeLaval dealer.

Did you get your pump up and running?

Hey all. Yes, NAPA had the bearings and took a day to get the oil seal but now I have an extra on hand. The good news is that the shaft seal seems to be holding but like in the other post, the end plates are leaking. I tried the paint on Permatex but it just heated up and melted away and now we have another haz-mat situation. The DeLaval dealer in Middlebury said to use Hi-Temp RTV on the end plates. So, tomorrow morning when I get home from work I'll seal the plates. Thanks everyone for the info and for checking in. I'll let ya know how it goes.
