Adding main line.

So I ran my first main line this year. 500 feet of 3/4” with 160 taps on a guzzler. I am already looking to add the next line. I can run another 300’ and add 75 taps. My question is how should I tie the new line in? T it into the original line? Y it in? Bring back to the pump and build a manifold? Thanks for the help.

Give us more details on the lay of the land please, is the 300' out past the 500' or is it in a different direction?

The current line is in an “L” shape. The new line would come into the short part of the L about 20 feet from the pump.

Since you will be on one pump I'd suggest you tee or better yet wye (y) them together. Just keep the slope , don't have sags or flat areas.
