Time between Boiling?

How long before the product will go bad inside your evaporator? 5 days,longer or shorter. Haven't gotten much sap lately :( and don't want to start off with a bad batch.

Well, I hope I never do this again, but I went 12 days between boils and over half the days the temp was 60+. When I fired it back up, it didn't smell perfect, but still made great grade A dark syrup.

As cold as it has been there, you could easily go two weeks.

Thanks for the inputs. I was getting a little nervous with now a week in between boils. It stayed good and cold here too. Saps running this morning. Hope to have her fired up tomorrow night.
