Is it a home made rig? Bricked? Hood, stack or anything else? Got any pictures? Private sale or a dealer?

I would say for a well made oil tank rig with a decent SS flue pan, hood and stack. Somewhere around $900 - $1500 maybe more.

Remember this size rig is in high demand. I have one and the oil is great. I can come home from work and have a hard boil about 3 minutes after I hit the switch and maintain a consistent boil untill I turn the switch off.

That seems like an awful lot,,,but I am just learning pricing on the smaller ones,,have you been to Bascoms for ideas on the price of stuff? How many taps do you think you are going to have?

Drake,

Watch and you should be able to pick up a nice 2x6 for around $ 2,000. It might be worth $ 1500 with a nice hood and good condition, but don't get smaller than you want, you will never be happy.

Were you working for Rocky Putnum? What is your Ideal rig? Sounds like a 2x6 or a 3x8 would be the perfect size,,The 2x6 I have is leaving my house today-one way or the other-but I have a lead on another 2x6,,do you prefer wood or oil fired?
