So I just realized after putting my taps in that I had used a 19/64 bit instead of a 5/16 bit when drilling the hole. The taps I am using our Lapierre 5/16 clear disposable taps. When I put the spout in the tree it seemed to seat fine. My question is what do I do now? Should I just leave them or pull them and run a 5/16 drillbit in each hole?My other question is how will this affect my vacuum from my shurflow pumps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not really a mistake. As long as you seated the taps properly you won't have any problems.

I’m not familiar with the Lapierre spouts but the 5/16” CDL spouts we use specify the 19/64” bit. You should be OK. Check them with the vacuum on to see how they are seated.

Leave them alone.
