I just brought home some parts to a old arch that was on my uncles farm about 20 miles from me. Unfortunately some of the parts are missing that might have had a name cast on them.
I drug these parts out of the woods with no idea how they went together. After getting them sandblasted and painted I kept playing with the unusual small doors at the bottom and the rail piece until I realized how it went together. The two small doors hang on the rail on the front of the arch and slide left to right to close or open the draft, and to clean out ashes.
I would like to know the type of arch, maker, location and age. If any one has the top frame and or doors I would be interested also.
