4x40 membrane housing

Has anyone blew the end off of a 4 x 40 membrane housing and where to get a new one? Thanks Vernon

I've heard of it happening but never saw it. I would check with MES or H2O. I suspect if it blew off the clamp was not properly tightened.

It’s common. I’ve done it. I’m sure there are many here that have.
Not sure what housing you have. But I’m assuming it’s the stainless housing with the clamp on each end with bolts.
The black end cap is probley fine. The clamp probley needs replacing now. Guaranteed it’s bent and warped.
Amazon has them. eBay has them. I’m sure MES has them. Pretty easy to find online.

Thanks for reply. have been using these for 5 years with no problem, they have no clamps but u pins to hold the ends? I called MES and they must be very busy as no one could answer the phone, will re try again today. I got a couple membranes from them a couple years age. Thanks Vernon

Another question.. Which end does the rubber seal on the membrane go, the end with just 1 opening or the end with 2 opening? Inlet or outlet. Thanks Vernon

The rubber gasket on the membrane faces the inlet side of the housing. So where the line comes off your high pressure pump and connects to the housing is your inlet side.

Still looking for 4 x 40 membrane housings. Had no return calls or e-mails? Probable some close but don't now where else to try? The shipping is as much as housing to get them out of U.S.? Anywhere in Canada that stocks them? Thanks Vernon
