View Full Version : a oil tank in to a huge evaporator

Well we first started with an oil tank and 4 steam pans then this year we made a new one 2'x10' it is huge and cost about $500 a week of our time and a trip to Atkinson Maple Syrup Supplies to get the pans we got a great deal a 2x4 foot pan $25!!!!

What are you going to use the empty hole on top of the arch for??
Nice rig, a lot of thought and a great job for $ 500.

well for the we got a chunck of steel about 3/8 of an inche thick and put that over it and bolted it down so if we need hot water you got it there or to finish boiling the syrup you can do it with out putting it on the stove top.

Nice looking set up you have. Are you going to brick the inside when it is in place?
