Hello All,
Wondering how people store plastic buckets, and large tanks between seasons. I use 32 gallon food grade trash cans, a 65 gallon water tank, and have a number of 5 gallon water containers, all were washed, bleached, rinsed very well and sun dried for a few days prior to storage. When getting things together this year I found a musty smell in some of my 5 gallon containers. These are all stored in an outdoor unheated shed. I did store them with the tops on. Mistake?
It takes a lot of space to store everything so looking for the best way to preserve the integrity of the insides without the musty smell. What do you do?
