Sap ladder question?

How many 1/2" risers do you need to lift 300 taps. The lift is 7 feet tall with 2% slope before and after ladder

I know there are a few ladder discussions in the past here. Try a search and there are a few good discussions. One of our members uses a few ladders to lift their syrup a good distance. I have two ladders and each handles only 25-30 taps. One rises a few feet and the other about 8 feet. There is a recommended formula for number of taps to risers, I don't recall them off the top of my head.

On the spider web type sap ladder it is up to 15 taps per leg, I'm not sure about 1/2" risers.
For years at 2 leases I had I had 2 risers each 3/4" for up to 150 taps. That was by no means the max, in fact one riser always had a valve to help regulate the performance and usually that valve was all but fully closed.

We currently use a cdl lifter in one woods and it works good other than having to make sure the drain valve is clear of ice in the mornings so that the canister seals

This lift is in middle of woods so was thinking the ladder would be a little more maintenance free. I was thinking 3 risers but havent been able to find any info on how many is needed per amount of taps

I just installed two 1/2" ladder set up for 400 taps. both lift about 10'. Using 4 risers at each lift station
