Food grade glue?

I know it's an odd question but I need to replace the rubber gasket on my float valve and I need to glue the new one down. I've looked online and found a couple of formulations that are FDA approved but my problem is securing the rubber gasket. One source mentions krazy glue gel and that does secure rubber but I can only find that online and it won't be here until next week. Does anyone know of other glues that are food grade and might be locally available?
