Hey all, thanks for taking a peek here. We are a larger scale maple syrup producing operation utilizing 15,000+ taps tied in with a large scale propane evaporator.
Looking for someone with experience regarding a larger scale operation to help check lines in the morning and then working as a team learning and making syrup for the remainder of the day boiling.
We are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual to join our team in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay will be commensurate with experience / $15-$20 p/h.
The ideal applicant will have experience within a production role. The right person will understand good manufacturing practices and have the ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Production Responsibilities
Following all maple production guidelines
Follow all requirements of the Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standard
Staging, Sanitizing, and Cleaning of equipment in a timely manner
Accurate Visual Inspection of Labeling and Date Codes
Accurate Written Recording of Information
Overtime or weekend work may be required depending on the volume of sap flow
Help with End of Day Cleaning
Qualification Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years previous maple syrup production experience preferred
A Team Player
Dependable and Reliable
Ability to stand throughout the day
Frequent reaching, pulling and pushing
Being outside in the elements
Physical Requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs.
