Hello all, I want to add vacuum to my 5/16 gravity system. Does this look doable? About 30 taps in all. Will be housed in a cooler at my central collection location.20862
Looks OK except I strongly urge you to add a re-circulation line, from the pump outlet back to the inlet or if feasible it's even better to draw from the destination tank back to the sap inlet. In that line have a needle valve. You only need to send back enough to keep the diaphragm wet in order to have the highest vacuum.
