I am wondering where folks have found the best prices on woven or braided type pan gasket material. Thank you!

I just added it to a previous order from Bascoms Maple Supply. 1/2 inch by 2 inch by 25 foot. When I remove my pan to clean I don't worry about tearing the gasket as I can just replace it.

I agree. I keep a roll on hand and if the pan come off a new gasket goes on.

Thank you for the replies. I tried the fluffy type gasket last year but it only lasted one year and was kinda messy. I was hoping the woven type would last longer.

I bought 30 feet of 7/8 rope gasket for my 3 x 10 from local hardware store. it was about $90. I have had trouble keeping rope or gasket in place for the last 20 years! So I designed a channel to hold the rope in place. Havent tested on it yet, so will be able to tell you more about that next year or after the season is over.
I know there are several styles of flat type pan gasket too, as friend Father and Son, just got some for setting up his oil rig.
Regards,
Chris

Ya Im in the same boat as the fluffy style doesnt hold up well. I just replaced with woven for better durability
