After toting buckets for 50 years, my Brother-in-law and myself ran 1500 feet last week Thursday. Only 7"-8" snow in the woods.

You're going to love not collecting buckets

With all the extra time you will have not having to empty buckets , maybe more taps in the future

First congrats on retirement. Second Way to go on the tubing. I am considering putting up some myself this year to try.

It looks good, you'll love tubing vs. buckets. I dream of only 7"-8" of snow in the woods!

Is there a lot of downslope or will you be running a small vac pump
that's awesome... what you'll probably find is that now you'll end up getting alot more sap and spend a ton more time boiling... but that sure beats bucket totin!!

I still have just as many buckets, just added 50-60 on tubing.

After you see how nice tubing is and the time it saves, every year you will be putting more taps on tubing and less on buckets.
I remember my first year on tubing it was the best thing ever. Haven't used a bucket since.

Holy smokes - If I'd been carrying buckets for 50 years, I don't think I could WALK another 1500 ft.
