Didn't Sugar In 2019 .. Or Did We??

Last spring ( 2019) we was not able to sugar as I had a medical issue …
My grandson came and pickup 10 buckets, covers and taps in mid March ….
Said he was going to tap a few trees around his yard in Barrington, NH …
At Christmas I received three small containers of light colored syrup he had made … see below >
Also a card which read: "The Year that almost wasn't … 2019"
So I guess he kept the tradition going … maybe not here …. but at another location …
