Quick connect for Daryl's Filter press

Good morning all. I am getting things ready for my 10th season up here in NW WI. I am looking to add stainless quick connects to the inlet and outlet ports on Daryl's press. An earlier thread mentioned 1/2". Is this correct? I'm not very knowledgeable on what exactly I need.

My 5" press from Daryl has 1/2" NPT threading. I picked up tri-clamp fittings that I plan to use as quick connects for mine so that I don't restrict any more flow than necessary.
